Kent Uni's on the up

Students studying in Kent have been greeted to the news both universities have risen up the national ranking as published on 18th April.

Both the University of Kent and Canterbury Christ Church have moved up the league tables. UKC are up four places to 34th while CCCU climbed 11 positions too 75th in a list of 116 universities.

The news has, unsurprisingly, been greeted with positive feedback from both camps. Alice Simmons, a sociology student at UKC, said "Its always good to know the uni your at is doing well. Hopefully it will bring an even better standard to the way students learn here."

CCCU student Matt Hammond, a 19 year old Law student, said "I think its good that this uni is getting a higher ranking because i think its always been in the shadow of Kent [university], but hopefully we can close the gap a bit more next year."
